About APIM Common
In Data and Automation we use APIM to host, manage, and secure all of our APIs in a single place.
This Developer Portal connects directly to our deployed APIs allowing you to discover what's available, and share documentation with other internal members at Spark.
APIM allows us to present a single IP address and domain name to all of our internal consumers. This makes IP filtering easier, and further reduces the ability for bad actors to get access to Spark data.
Subscription keys and OAuth flows add an additional layer of protection. We then combine this with Microsoft's threat detection and Cloud Defender as a cherry on top.
DaaS
Data as a Service is a python based FastAPI framework architected by Pedro Mroninnski and maintained by Data Operations. It has access to a range of Sparks data providers and is built to sustain a 99.95% SLA.
